Come join us on a Monday night from 7:00pm to 8:30pm for our 6 week beginners' samba drumming workshop. No drumming experience necessary and all the drums provided (and ear plugs!). Just bring your enthusiasm and a smile!

About the Event
Have you ever wanted to learn an instrument? Samba is the not only the music of Brazil but widely enjoyed all over the world. It is centred around community and we try to share that with our city here in Hamilton.
Come join us on a Monday night from 7:00pm to 8:30pm for our 6 week beginners' samba drumming workshop. No drumming experience necessary and all the drums provided (and ear plugs!). Just bring your enthusiasm and a smile!
Workshop cost:
$30.00 (total) - $5 dollar discount for those who have attended our 4 week beginners workshop.
Bank transfer only.
What to expect:
We will spend 6 weeks learning the basics of samba rhythms and by the end of the workshop we will be able to play a complete samba merengue rhythm as a group. At the end of the workshop, we'll hold an extra session where we get to jam the songs we've learnt in this workshop and our previous workshops. First-time workshop goers will receive a free t-shirt!
